Who We Are

Third-generation Craftsman Carlo Figueroa and Business Manager Tom Oneto formed Woods and Style in 2006 to offer discriminating homeowners, designers and builders a new level of customer service and quality in custom woodwork. Over more than 25 years, Carlo has honed his skills with exotic woods and finishes and his innovative designs to become one of the most sought-after craftsman in the Mid-Atlantic region. As early as 1997, the Washington Building Congress honored him with its annual Craftsmanship Award for his $1.5 million Tiny Jewel Box installation. The exclusive Connecticut Avenue boutique remains a loyal customer today. In addition, Carlo’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest and Design Solutions magazines.

Tom Oneto, a CPA, brings nearly two decades of business acumen to the company, emphasizing an uncompromising commitment to customer satisfaction. Tom fosters a healthy, creative and respectful workshop environment, in which employees are fairly compensated and encouraged to take pride in the quality of their craft. Tom’s meticulous attention to detail guarantees a high-touch, personalized client relationship from a project’s beginning to end.
